California’s nonpartisan Legislative Analyst Office says a statewide $15 hourly minimum wage could mean rising prices, falling profits and fewer jobs.

The bleak forecast came Thursday in an economic assessment of a state ballot proposal filed by SEIU United Healthcare Workers West in April.
